Welcome to NoHo First UMC. As we wait for our next Pastor to arrive at NoHo First to be appointed we bring you a message for our former Pastor: We are an oasis in the city. Our beautiful campus is an escape from the busy freeways and crowded streets. With its tall bell tower, brick arches, and stunning stained glassed windows, our sanctuary gives the feeling of entering an ancient medieval cathedral. Our flowering courtyard with its gurgling fountain offers another place of respite. More important than the physical space, however, is the spirit of welcome in our community. In a world that often seems cold and bitter, NoHo First offers an oasis of warmth and grace. Most important, we are an oasis for the soul. If you are feeling tired or weary, lonely or scared, stressed or strained, NoHo First is a place to hear Jesus’ invitation, “Keep company with me and you will find rest for your souls.”
