Rev. Chamie Delkeskamp

I was appointed by the bishop as the lead pastor of the church on July 1, 2023. I love the absolute beauty of the sanctuary and chapels and fountain courtyard. Many people don't know that we have a tiny prayer chapel which is such a lovely place to breathe deep and be filled with God's peace. If you ever want to use this space, just buzz the front office! I also love that this congregation celebrates the wonderful diversity in which God created human beings. Some fun facts about me are that I grew up on the prairie in South Dakota and then I married a California surfer who grew up Orange County. My husband is a Lutheran pastor, me Methodist, and we met at seminary. We drink lots of tea and go on lots of hikes together and love to hang out with our three adult children who we think are really cool now that we have survived adolescence with them.

Letha Watts

My name is Letha Watts , I'm the Sunday school teacher , I have been for 25 years or so , who's counting . I love spending time with children . And often say I have the best job in the church. We do lessons and crafts to support our lessons. We meet in the community room and I am always there by 10:00am eager to meet new children.

I have been the Director of Congregational Nurture since June 2011. I love the opportunity to serve God in my vocation and the blessing of my church family.

Nylean Rapinac

I started working here at the Church when Pastor Joey K. McDonald asked me in 1991. I now do financial and membership records. I love the traditional ways of our First United Methodist Church, having started coming to Church with my family in 1949 and before that at the location on Lankershim Boulevard. I love worshipping God by singing in the Chancel Choir ever since 1972. Many folks who walk or drive by the Church do not know how large and how beautiful our campus is. I have had experience in folks telling me that very thing when they finally come in for one reason or another.

April Anderson

I've been working at First UMC NoHo as the Administrator since January 2024. As one can imagine, my job is very glamorous. I have been a Methodist my entire life and an Administrator for many years, so I am delighted to be here. It is wonderful to work for a church that has so many members that care deeply about their community and each other.
